Classroom Idea: Indoor and Outdoor Patterns

Children can find patterns outdoors as well as indoors. Place a few sheets of paper on each paper plate, fasten it with a clothespin, and distribute these notepads to the children along with crayons and pens. When they are on the playground, ask them to look for and describe the patterns they see.
