Using Jump Ropes to Create the Shapes of States

Geography, teamwork, creativity and movement align in this middle school resource. In this lesson students move around while working together to learn more about states and/or countries. They will use jump ropes against time to create the outline of different geographic regions. This lesson is best suited for 5th grade middle school students.
